Data compliance notice for version three

Data compliance notice for version three

Sellpass is steadfast in its commitment to protecting the data of businesses and customers alike.

As a U.S-based entity with international cloud centers and hosting infrastructure, this announcement comes in our effort to be compliant with current and future data protection and privacy regulations.

With our upcoming transition to version three, Sellpass is announcing an update to its inactivity policy. This update includes strict adherence to international and upcoming data protection policies.

Accounts and businesses on Sellpass that have been inactive for the past 120 days will be queued for automatic deletion.

Once an account is deleted, it will be inaccessible—businesses will not be able to log in to the account. The account and all data associated with the account will be wiped after deletion, which would commence post version three launch.

This includes all products, payments and orders, API keys, any published storefronts or embedded products, and any other user data across the business dashboard. Once the data is deleted, it's gone forever.

For affected businesses, you'll receive a notice via your account email address.

We'd love for businesses powered by Sellpass to stick around for what's coming next. If you don't want your account to be deleted, sign back in to your account by December 15th, 2023. Sign in here: https://auth.sellpass.io/login
